The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
